Novice -  The Novice program is our introduction to year round, competitive swimming.  It is designed for swimmers who enjoy summer league swimming and are interested in further developing their skills.  As such, the fundamentals of swimming are stressed in this group but not at the expense of fun!  To join the novice group swimmers must be able to swim legal freestyle and backstroke as well as be able to do a forward dive.

JuniorThe Junior group continues to build on the stroke and technique work of the novice group, and introduces more advanced training and racing skills to the swimmers.  Goal setting is also introduced. The main goal of Junior group is to develop a love for the sport by teaching new skills and helping them to enjoy racing. Swimmers in the Junior Group must be proficient in all four strokes and turns.

Age Group Silver – This group is designed for swimmers 10- 13 who have developed consistent practice habits and a love for racing and are prepared to commit themselves, both physically and mentally, toward taking the next step in their development as an athlete.  Stroke technique is still emphasized but swimmers are introduced to more physically demanding “training” that will allow them to compete at a higher level.

Age Group Gold – This group is designed for swimmers 10 and over who have proven they are ready for more demanding “training”, but more importantly want to train with more intensity.  Swimmers in this group have been recognized by the coaching staff as potential State Championship qualifiers and as such the group will be working toward seasonal goals including scoring at the Championship meet.  Generally swimmers must have at least 2  11-12 A times or 6 BB times to enter this group.

Senior – for swimmers 13 years and older, our most experienced group.  Swimmers in this group must possess, more than anything, dedication to the sport of swimming and a willingness to challenge themselves to new levels everyday.  Senior level swimmers practice 6 days a week and are expected to attend all offered practices.  Generally, a swimmer must have at least one 15-16 AA time to enter the Senior Group but swimmers may also move up at the discretion of the coaching staff.

High School Fitness – This group is designed for swimmers 13 and over who enjoy swimming but cannot commit the time to Senior Swimming due to participation in other activities.  The focus of this group is developing aerobic fitness and stroke technique.   Participation in meets is encouraged but not mandatory.
